SKRC RD4 RACE REPORT
HEAT 1: P11 ➡️ P3! 🥉
HEAT 2: P18 ➡️ P11
HEAT 3: P1 ➡️ P1! 🥇
FINAL: P2 ➡️ P4!
Saturday testing started with finding a fault with our engine. So we borrowed a spare engine and instantly found the pace we knew we had. Although we wasted the last round trying to find the issue, it was great to finally narrow it down! Then Ron flipped his kart, and that was our track time done. Driver OK, thankfully, but kart not so good!
Sunday race day was mega! Heat 1 we showed great pace and some mega overtakes to climb 8 places and finished P3!
Heat 2 he started P18 and climbed 7 places to P1, setting 4th fastest lap just 0.1s away from fastest lap!
Heat 3 Ronnie started from pole, and after a race long battle, being passed then passing straight back, Ronnie managed to bring in his 1st ever Heat win!
Ronnie started the final on the front row in p2, & after a long race he finished p4, just 2.5s off the Winner! What an emotional amazing weekend!
Of course, it couldn't have been done if it wasn't from amazing support from the paddock! 1st shout to @bertiec_racing for the engine. RFR 5th fastest at Round 2!
SKRC Round 2
SKRC RD2 - P12 - We are pleased with the top 50% finish after a troublesome few heats plagued with issues including a slow puncture due to a leaky mag wheel, a brake binding issue and some clutch issues. All sorted for the final and managed to climb 5 places to 12th with the 5th fastest lap!
We know the pace is there, but consistency isn't, and that's what is to work on! Once we have that, who knows!!

Promising Start To 2025 SKRC
SKRC Round 1
Round 1 sheningtonkrc champs
1st race of the year and a massive learning curve, but not a bad result in tricky conditions, on used tyres that have been in the loft for 2 years! But it's what we had, so it's what we used 😀
Some good pace shown, some bad luck, some good luck but all learning.
Heat 1: took out by another spinning kart mid way through the race meant a p19 finish but the pace for p11 so unlucky there
Heat 2: P11 finish but a bad 1st couple laps and confidence in the new class with the pace for p9
Final: a spin all on my own in the final meant a p20 finish but pace for much more again.
We learn and move on! Roll on some better tyres if we can find some ✅️ thanks kr_sport_engines

3rd Overall in SKRC for 2025
Ronnie clinches 3rd in Championship
Our 1st season racing in micromax, and we've claimed 3rd in the championship! After a steady start to season, Ronnie really came on in the second half of the year and really started showing some pace for a privateer. It's hard competing against the teams with fast engines etc but with hard work and learning, correct lines and driving, we managed to compete and be at thr sharp end. The last couple of meetings have showed pace to be at the front, even if we've had a spin and not finished where we deserved. We've learned alot and drove well. And to clinch 3rd overall in the championships is great for our 1st season. Roll on next season in the intermax!
